After poking around with MT, Blogger, and a number of others, it seems that WordPress should be able to serve for the time being. It’s straightforward, and more than capable to let me ramble on.

On occasion..

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan, ‘Press on’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

I’ve been called a number of things over the years, from the flattering to the most exotic comparisons of animal husbandry and inbreeding, but at Pittsburg I was given what I think is the most flattering compliment ever having been called: pathologically charming
