An image of the new Freddy Krueger—that is, about as close as we’re going to get for now

Jackie Earle Haley, a new Twitterer, tweeted this playfully teasing image of his Sunday-morning coffee from the Chicago set of A Nightmare on Elm Street, in which he plays the razor-clawed Freddy Krueger.

Don't get it? Look a bit closer at the image. Especially on the right-hand side.

Platinum Dunes, which is producing the movie, has been very coy about releasing any images of Haley as the new Freddy, so we'll take what we can get. For now. A Nightmare on Elm Street is slated to open April 16, 2010.

New poster, trailer, sites for the Korean vampire thriller Thirst

A new onesheet poster is now live for Thirst, the upcoming vampire thriller movie from Oldboy director Park Chan-wook, and you can see it after the jump.

The movie also has a new Web site, a Twitter page and a red-band trailer.

Can’t wait for the Sorority Row remake? Here’s two new images

Summit Entertainment has released two new images from the upcoming college-girls-with-sharp-instruments horror thriller Sorority Row, which you can view after the jump.

The movie—which stars Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge and Carrie Fisher—is a remake of the 1983 slasher flick The House on Sorority Row.

Christopher Lee’s cape from 1958′s Horror of Dracula sells for £26,400

Some lucky collector is in vampire heaven today, because Christopher Lee's black cape from the 1958 film version of Dracula has just sold for £26,400 at auction in London. Lee's iconic costuming was auctioned together with a letter signed by the actor confirming the authenticity of the item, as well as a still image of him wearing the cape as Dracula.
