So who is Bill Watters?

Some of you may know me, others perhaps not, but this is the place to get to know each other better. I still consider myself a Kansan living in Exile out here on the West Coast in San Francisco. I’ve been here since 1990 when I came out for college, and rather settled in what turned out to be a long haul.

I’ve been involved with Renaissance Faires since Bonner Springs (Kansas City Faire) in 1984, and been on the California circuit since I moved out here, and the rest as they say, is history. You’ll find me having posted in any number of places and refered to in even more places when it comes to Faires, I’ll leave it up to our avid readers to discern which ones are true and which are bogus.

I’m currently working at GameSpy (which is a part of IGN, which is a part of the Fox Interactive Media division of Fox), and still loving it. For the regular linkedin resume, click here.

The themes that appear on this site will wander as fancy may take me. For more purely faire related commentaries, I’d have to refer to http://www.renradio.com/ or http://www.behindtheburlap.com/ – though there will be a great deal of it here as well. But there’ll also be topics on nifty things that I find online, talk of politics and the world, and of programming and gaming, and just about anything else that might strike.
